食品科学与工程学院始建于1988年,下设食品科学与工程系、食品质量与安全系、包装工程系、酿酒工程系、乳品工程系等5个教学系和1个实验管理中心。拥有“畜产品加工”国家级特色优势学科专项资助实验室、“乳品生物技术与工程”教育部重点实验室、“乳品生物技术”教育部工程研究中心、农业部东北区域农业微生物资源利用科学观测实验站、农业部奶制品加工重点实验室、“乳酸菌与乳品发酵剂”自治区工程实验室、“乳制品研究”自治区重点开放实验室、“畜产品加工”内蒙古工程技术研究中心以及 “益得”乳制品实验厂。

学院现有在校本科生1871名、硕士研究生433名,博士研究生47名;有教职工79名,其中教授24人、副教授23人,博士生导师15人、硕士生导师38人,有50位博士学位获得者,具有博硕士学位教师占专任教师总数的98%。专任教师中 “长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授和国家杰出青年科学基金1人、国家优秀青年基金1人、享受政府特殊津贴专家2人、全国先进工作者1人、国家“百千万人才工程”1人、全国农业科研杰出人才1人、国家“万人计划”科技领军人才1人、自治区“新世纪321人才工程”一、二层人选6人、入选自治区“333人才引进工程”首席专家2人、自治区“草原英才”10人。

学院现有1个国家重点领域创新团队、1个教育部科技创新团队、1个农业部科研杰出人才及其创新团队、2个自治区创新创业人才团队、1个自治区科技创新团队、1个自治区高等学校科技创新团队,2个内蒙古农业大学科技创新团队。

学院设有食品科学与工程、食品质量与安全、包装工程和酿酒工程、乳品工程5个本科专业,食品科学与工程专业是自治区品牌专业。拥有食品科学与工程一级博(硕)士学位授权点,食品科学、农产品加工及贮藏工程、粮食油脂及植物蛋白工程等二级博(硕)士学位授权点。农产品加工及贮藏工程学科是自治区重点建设学科,2016年食品科学与工程学科入选自治区首批 “一流学科”建设序列,在2017年全国第四轮学科评估中获得“B”档。内蒙古畜产品加工研究会、内蒙古营养协会、内蒙古乳酸菌协会挂靠在本院。

多年来,一直坚持教学、科研和生产实践相结合,近5年学院教师承担国家自然科学基金、科技支撑计划项目、863项目等国家级科研项目共55项,资金8229万元,承担省部级及横向科研项目111项,资金4894.5万元。学院教师在在“Nature Communication”发表文章2篇,国内外重要学术期刊发表科技论文548篇,SCI和EI收录154篇,出版教材和专著11部,申请国家发明专利56项,其中获得授权发明专利40项。获得教育部科技进步二等奖、内蒙古科技进步一等奖、内蒙古自然科学一等奖各一项,获得高等教育自治区级教学成果一等奖1项,首届中华农业科技奖1项,大北农科技奖励科技成果奖1项,内蒙古自治区十大科技进展1项,教育部高等学校科技进步二等奖1项。

学院十分重视学生综合素质的培养,以提高学生的创新能力、实践能力为突破口,大力开展学生第二课堂、科技创新和社会实践等活动。近年来,学生在全国和自治区“挑战杯”大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛及创业计划大赛中屡获佳绩,获奖项目累计52项。“内蒙古农业大学食品科技创新团队”荣获2014年度全国大学生“小平科技创新团队”。2011年,我院一篇博士论文入选全国优秀博士论文提名。

学院与中国农业大学、美国亚利桑那州立大学等国内外著名大学及中国科学院北京基因组研究所等科研院所,建立了科技协作和联合人才培养等合作关系,其中与内蒙古伊利实业集团股份有限公司合作,将益生菌Lactobacillus casei Zhang应用于发酵乳饮料的生产,其产品以“QQ星儿童益生菌乳饮料”的形式投入市场。 为了解决自治区经济建设中的实际问题,通过利用我院“国家地方联合工程实验室”、“教育部重点实验室和工程中心”等11个科研平台及学生实习实践基地,成功地完成了乳制品中天然乳酸菌的分离与开发利用、功能性乳制品的研制、高新技术在肉乳保鲜上的应用和肉宰后生理等研究,部分成果已成功地应用到“伊利”、“蒙牛”、“新希望”等著名企业的产品研发和生产当中,取得了良好的经济效益和社会效益。


College of Food Science and Engineering was founded in 1988. There are five departments (Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety,Packaging Engineering, Brewing Engineering, Dairy Engineering) and one Laboratory Managing Center. The college also has “National Specific Laboratory of Livestock Products Processing”, “Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology and Engineering, Ministry of Education”, “Engineering Research Center of Dairy Biotechnology, Ministry of Education”, “Experiment Station of Microbial Resource Application in Northeast Region, Ministry of Agriculture”, “Key Laboratory of Dairy Products Processing, Ministry of Agriculture”, “Inner Mongolia Engineering Laboratory of Lactic Acid Bacteria and Starter Cultures”, “Inner Mongolia Key Opening Laboratory of Dairy Products Research”, “Inner Mongolia Engineering Research Center of Livestock Products Processing”, and “YIDE Dairy Pilot Plant”.

Up to now, there are 47 Ph. D students, 433 graduates and 1871 undergraduates. There are 79 faculties in the college, including 24 professors, 23 associate professions, 15 Ph. D student tutors, 38 graduate student tutors. 50 faculties have Ph. D degree, the teachers who have Ph. D and/or Master degree accounts for 98% of the total teachers. 1 teacher is enrolled as Candidates for the National New Century Millions of Talents Projects,1 teacher is employed as Cheung Kong Scholar Chair Professor of Department of Education, and1 teacher is awarded as National Agricultural Research Outstanding Talents. 1 teacher obtained National Science Fund for Distinguished Youth Scholars; 1 teacher obtained National Science Fund for Excellent Youth Scholars.1teacher is awarded as Science and Technology Talents of National High Level Talents Special Support Plan. 10 teachers are awarded as Inner Mongolia Grassland Talents. 2 teachers received the State Council Special Allowance. 1 teacher is awarded as National excel worker.6 persons are selected as first and second layer candidates for New Century 321 Talent Engineering of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 2 persons are selected as First- Rate Expert for Inner Mongolia 333 Talent Introducing Engineering.

Our college has one National Innovative Team of Key Fields, one Scientific & Technologic Innovative Team of Ministry of Education, one Outstanding Talents and Innovative Team of Scientific Research (Ministry of Agriculture), one Inner Mongolia Scientific & Technologic Innovative Team of Universities and Colleges, as well as two Scientific & Technologic Innovative Team of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.

College of Food Scienceand Engineering has five undergraduate majors, including Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Packaging Engineering, Brewing Engineering, and Dairy Engineering. Moreover, Food Science and Engineering is the first-grade major of Inner Mongolia. In 2011, our college obtained the authorization for first-class doctoral degree program in Food Science and Engineering. Now, we also have the authorization for 4 second-class doctoral degrees in Food Science, Processing and Preservation Engineering of Agricultural Products, Foodstuff Oil and Vegetable Protein Engineering, Safe Production of Livestock Products. Among them, the Processing and Preservation Engineering of Agricultural Products is one of the key construction disciplines of Inner Mongolia. In 2016, the discipline of Food Science and Engineering was chosen in the list of first group of top disciplines construction in Inner Mongolia. In 4thChina Discipline Ranking, we got “B”. Inner Mongolia Livestock Production Processing Research Society, Inner Mongolia Nutrition Association and Inner Mongolia Lactic Acid Bacteria Association are affiliated to our college.

During the practice of teaching, research and manufacturing, we already have established the research direction with Inner Mongolia characteristics and program predominance. In recent 5 years, 55 national projects have been performed (including National Natural Science Foundation, National Key Technology R&D Program, National 863 program), and the funds accounted for 82,290,000RMB. Moreover, 111 projects which are funded by the Ministry, Inner Mongolia and industry cooperation have been performed resulting in a total funding of 48,945,000RMB. Two papers have been published in “Nature Communication”, 548 papers have been published in national and international journals, 154 are cited by SCI or EI, 11 textbooks or monographs have been published. A total of 56 patents have been submitted, and 40 have been granted. The scientific researchers have been awarded the first prize for Higher Education Autonomous Class, first prize of Inner Mongolia Natural Science, first prize of Inner Mongolia Technology Progress, second prize of National Technology Progress, 1stChina Agriculture Technology Award, Da Bei Nong Technology Achievement, Ten Technology Progress of Inner Mongolia, second prize of Technology Progress of University of Ministry of Education,

To improve students’ innovative and practical ability, our college attaches importance to the comprehensive diathesis training of students, we supports the secondary classes, scientific & technologic innovation activities, as well as social practice activities. Up to now, the graduated students won 52 prizes in national and/or Inner Mongolia “‘Challenge Cup’ Competition Works of Students in Extra-curricular Academic Science and Technology.” In 2014, “Innovative Team of Food Science and Technology, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University” was awarded as National Graduates’ Xiaoping Scientific and Technological Innovative Team. In 2011, a doctoral thesis was nominated as National Excellent Doctoral Dissertations.

Collegeof Food Science and Engineering also established academic cooperation and joint-cultivation mode with first-class national and international universities and scientific research institutions, such as Arizona State University (USA), China Agricultural University, Beijing Institute of Genomics (Chinese Academy of Science). Under the cooperation with Inner Mongolia Yili Group Co., Ltd., we appliedLactobacillus caseiZhang into the production of fermented milk beverage- QQ Star Children’s Probiotic Milk Beverage. To deal with the practical problems of Inner Mongolia economical construction, we successfully finished the researches on isolation and application of lactic acid bacteria from traditionally fermented dairy products, development of functional dairy products and application of high-technology in refreshing of livestock products under the support of eleven scientific research platforms and undergraduates’ practical base. Some of the research products have been successfully applied in several big companies such as YILI, MengNiu, and New Hope, and obtained good economic and social benefits.
